When you use the app, we may collect the following information:

• Account Information: Your email address, used to create and authenticate your account.
• Images: Photos you take or select to extract event information. These images are processed temporarily and are not stored permanently on our servers.
• Calendar Data: Information about events we create in your calendar, only with your explicit permission. If you connect Google Calendar, we access it solely to add the events you request.
• Subscription & Purchase Information: Your subscription status and purchase history, processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and our subscription provider. We never receive or store your full payment card details.
• Device Information: Basic device information and identifiers used for app functionality and crash reporting.
• Usage Data: Analytics about how you use the app to help us improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and authenticate your account
• Process images to extract date and event information
• Add events to your preferred calendar application
• Process subscription payments and manage your subscription
• Improve our AI recognition accuracy
• Provide customer support
• Analyze app performance and fix bugs

4. Data Storage and Security

Your privacy is our priority. Images you upload are:

• Processed in real-time using secure, encrypted connections
• Automatically deleted after processing is complete
• Never stored permanently on our servers
• Never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes

5. Third-Party Services

To provide the app, we share the minimum necessary data with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf:

• OpenAI: Images are sent to OpenAI to extract event details. They are processed for this purpose and not stored permanently. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• Google Calendar API: Used to add events to your calendar when you connect your Google account. See Google's Privacy Policy. We only add the events you request and do not sell or use your Google data for advertising.
• Supabase: Used for account authentication and secure data storage. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: Used to manage subscriptions across platforms. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store & Google Play: Handle billing and payment processing for subscriptions, depending on the platform you use.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Image to Calendar Scanner offers a free trial followed by an optional paid subscription (a monthly and a yearly plan). Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account, and the exact price in your local currency is shown in the store before you confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data, including in-app account deletion
• Revoke calendar permissions at any time
• Opt out of analytics collection
• Export your data

You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app, or by contacting us at hello@imagetocalendar.ai.

8. Children's Privacy

Image to Calendar Scanner is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
